I soar through the sky Searching for something I know not yet The barren and desolate land Beneath me cries out in pain Cracked and broken Dry and forlorn So I cry I spread my wings And draw closer to see The dust and debris Scatter throughout Branches break And flowers die And so I cry My tears are falling Like rain now Puddles of my pain Are soaking the land below And I cry more The earth swallows my tears And cries out for more A flood of tears Would not be enough But still I cry I see the earth change The brown and gray Turn to emerald greens Buds form Into newly sprouted flowers I see roses, geraniums, and daffodils I hold back my tears Bold colors of blue That reflect the sky Shimmering reds That rubies cannot behold Blazing yellows The sun cannot compare I cry no more I soar higher and higher Reaching my lair But before I retire I pluck from the earth A small red rose To remind me Why I cried

Freedom for all species and people, and freedom of stress; is it possible? Could the Internet be a tool to getting there?
Freedom, what is it? I am an Internet writer whose job is to write about the Internet. Does that mean I am locked into this one area? Am I allowed to write about other things? Well today I am going to test out my supposed freedom, by writing about freedom. Some people say freedom is a state of mind, but I don’t know. What if you are a refugee locked away in a mandatory detention center waiting years for governments to process bureaucratic rigmarole? What if you live in a democratic society where you have to sign and have documents for everything from dog licenses to foreign visas? Are we really free, and if we are, how free are we?
Life on Earth for the privileged nations has become quite a comfortable existence. Or has it? Materially we have more than we could have ever imagined, but spiritually, how are we doing? If we are honest, each one of us has to live with the knowledge that for every creature comfort we have, someone in the world is having a little bit less; and then there’s the effect we have on the environment. So how free can we be with all this on our collective consciousness? The fact that we have more stress, anxiety and youth suicide today than ever before is a testament to the fact that life isn’t necessarily wholly better than our previous generations.
So why think of freedom? Why think of the problems of the Earth if I don’t have the answers. Everybody wants to hear solutions, but not many people are giving them. I once heard a guy called Professor Peter Sellars say,
“I’m now proposing the new period is the ‘Culture of Focus’, you find something that needs to be done and you do it.”
Could this be our ticket to physical, mental, emotional and spiritual freedom? If we focus our intentions as a society in an altruistic fashion, maybe all our strict social doctrines and rules will become less apparent in our minds and thus in our reality. If we are all thriving on the fact that we are doing our little part to make the world a better place for all concerned, maybe we wouldn’t be so obsessed with some of the issues that seem to pervade our minds today: war, greed, economics, racial and religious differences; all these may just become focuses of our past perception of reality.
I’m not pedaling easy answers and I’m not giving many examples of how all this change will come about; and I’m definitely not saying it shall be an easy task, nothing worthwhile ever is. The fact is, humans are always evolving and changing and it is easy to see that we still have a way to go before we live in a sustainable, positive global community. These thoughts are on my mind and I’m sure as I’ve spoken to many others, that it’s on a lot of our minds.
O.K., my job is to write about the Internet so I guess in the end I’ll follow orders. I mean hey, these words could incite a few positive thoughts out there in our collective community across the globe. The Internet is a pretty cool tool for communication across present borders and boundaries of our constructed systems. Just think about how much information and knowledge is now available at your fingertips. You can find out about nearly anything imaginable. For instance, if you did want to research the question about whether you are free or not, it’s the perfect place to start your search. It actually could take a large part in the development of true freedom for all species. That’s all I am going to say about that. Maybe we are already free, but could we become freer? Think about it my brothers and sisters.

Jesse S. Somer is a human wondering when freedom will, if ever, reign supreme in our world and in our minds.
With models and movie celebrities showing off their trendy attire including the types of sunglasses they wear, a question that comes to my mind is, “are they becoming more of a fashion statement than protection for your eyes?”
All you have to do is turn on the television, and famous stars are spotted wearing the hottest brands of eyewear, such as sunglass styles from Gucci, Ray Ban, Oakley, Serengeti, Christian Dior, Armani, Silhouette, and the list goes on.
There are even websites that list famous movie stars and music singers that are wearing a certain brand and style of sunglass frames. For example: A certain site lists many of these actors, actresses, and singers below!
Celebrities And Their Favourite Collection of eyewear!
Alex Curran, and Paris Hilton wear – Christian Dior – Dior Schlak 2

Remote controls – these days we can’t seem to function without them. In modern-day living, remote controls have virtually become an extra limb that we cannot do without.
The Germans first began using them during World War I, to control motorboats and airplanes that would destroy ships by crashing into them. The Second World War saw bombs that were controlled by remote devices. In fact, the first use of remotes in our homes began after the war, when remote controlled garage doors started being manufactured. The T.V. remote followed suit. It was aptly called ‘Lazy Bones,’ and was made by Zenith Corporation, an American company.
Early remote controls were not wireless, and were in fact attached to cables connecting it to the T.V. Subsequent developments saw the making of Flashmatic, the wireless remote that had to be pointed at the television set. The next generation of remote controls used high-frequency sound to transmit signals, and only in the 80s did the prototype of the modern remote control come into existence. These remotes used infrared (IR) radiation to send and receive signals. Today the majority of the remotes manufactured are based on this technology, although some manufacturers use radio-based remotes or those that work with Bluetooth technology.
In present times almost every gadget we own needs a remote control, from TVs, music systems, VCRs and DVD players to home theater systems, some of which require as many as six separate remotes. The day is not far away, when every single gadget we use will need a remote. That is the main reason behind the development of universal remotes, which can control multiple gadgets and be used for almost all the prominent brands. With the addition of these additional features, the appearance of the remote control too has evolved. Gone are the simple remotes that had circular or rectangular buttons on a slim black console. Now remotes have fliptops that open to reveal LCD screens and exhaustive menus.
From controlling home and office appliances to directing robots, weapons and even equipment to be used in space, the humble remote control has come a long away and has now literally become a symbol of power in our hands.
Remote Controls provides detailed information on Remote Controls, Radio Remote Controls, TV Remote Controls, Universal Remote Controls and more. Remote Controls is affiliated with Wireless Speakers.
At the present moment lots of people prefer finding their swimwear on the Web; shopping online is a trouble-free & suitable way to shop in the peace of your own home.
It’s important to make sure whilst purchasing swimwear on the Web that it fits you properly. When you procure swimwear on the Internet always check that the store offers a valuable quality sizing chart that highlights all of the sizes you could require. With the help of a sizing diagram one can guarantee to buy a swimsuit or bikini that fits correctly, therefore reducing the need to exchange for a different size. Most of the online swimwear stores do not allow an exchange of goods so it’s typically always better to opt for a retail shop where exchanges are permitted. Many online shops will allow the returns of swimwear if the tags & the original wrapping are also returned along with it.
Swimwear is a common factor of the summer; nevertheless a substantial majority of full-figured females feel fearful at the prospect of shopping for swimsuits & bikinis that fit right. These women even contemplate about wearing caftans by the swimming pool or at the beach instead of looking unpleasant. Designers and shopkeepers are familiar with the fashion problems of the overweight woman, & are at last featuring a wide array of stylish bathing suit designs in L sizes, & the best place to stumble upon such swimwear is to obtain swimwear online. Find eye-catching and sexy tankinis at great prices from designers such as Phax, Sunflair, Gok Wan, Gottex, Seafolly and Miracle Suit.

If we spend enough time playing all the free offers, is it possible to get a complete free site to help a new business get off its feet?
Well, the truth is, YES! There are some MAJOR issues to consider up front, however.
The primary areas of danger with this approach include fine print disputes, permanent loss of e-mail address usability, and runaway unauthorized credit card charges. and we hear about new tricks or angles being used all the time.
With so many free offers, why is it that some reputable businesses are paying thousands of dollars for their websites? Where is the middle ground?
Start with your business plan, no matter how formal or informal it is. What are the goals or overall intent of the business? The most important elements that MUST be present in a business plan, or else it isn’t a viable plan, include WHY the market would choose your product or service over the others available, WHO that market is, HOW you’re going to reach them. If the primary objective of your company is the generate a bottom line profit, then somewhere in your plan, you’ve probably considered things such as selling more units vs. selling at higher cost per unit, or increasing number in customer-base vs. increasing customer frequency. Consider YOUR business approach, mix it with YOUR market, and very often a much more effective and targeted application for a small business website makes itself apparent.
You can obviously get a lot more detailed and specific with a business plan, and there are several success stories that don’t include a business plan at all – (HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED).
If you go to the hardware store to buy tools to finish a job, of course you consider the intended finished product up front, determine what tools are needed for its completion, and then blame any mistakes on the mysterious disappearing directions if you need to. Well, same thing here; Figure out what tools you need. A website may fill many of them, or it might not be able to address any – either way you wouldn’t be creating a business expense – yet rather implementing a powerful tool of commerce.

One of the biggest obstacles to our self growth and personal development is……………..ourselves!
No, make that THE biggest obstacle.
When we say that we want to make changes, but develop resistance and fear and in doing so an internal battle follows.
It’s natural to feel scared and apprehensive when venturing into the unknown, but ultimately living within your comfort zone is all very safe, but not very life enhancing.
Taking risks can bring up a whole host of emotions. But what are e-motions? They are energy in motion. They are the stories we tell ourselves, that’s all. What’s the difference in feeling scared or excited? Only our interpretation.
Life makeover programmes are very popular in the UK at the moment. The whole theme behind the programmes is that people take risks: in getting back or starting the dating game, clearing their clutter (and all the emotional stuff that they’ve been hanging onto), change jobs and even being coached within six weeks to do something completely different.
A Barrister is coached to become a DJ, A Choirgirl becomes a rock musician. A Radiographer becomes a commercial photographer and fooling the experts who don’t realise that they are “novices”.
The most moving part of the program is the follow up – often a year later – where the program catches up with the risk takers and find that, as a result of this, their lives have changed immeasurably. Their self perception, self esteem, confidence and overall outlook on life and what they are capable of has changed forever.
Are you avoiding taking risks? Have you got into a rut? Try setting yourself a goal of taking one small (or large – if you’re up for it – some people can only get excited and motivated if they’ve set themselves a BIG challenge) risk for yourself, every week, month, year and follow through.
See what happens. Engage or enlist encouragement and support if you want. But DON’T tie yourself or become overly concerned with the outcome, just taking the risk is enough. Reward yourself appropriately after you’ve done so.
Our risk taking abilities are like muscles, the more we use them, the stronger we become and fear loses its grip on our lives. The fear never goes away as you take more risks, but it does stop defining your life. Fear is only an indicator that you are growing – it’s not meant to stop you in your tracks!
So get out of your own way and stop resisting the changes that you want to make and the risks you are going to take.
Because ultimately………….daring to dream and living a fulfilled life is the biggest risk of all!

As a Professional Organizer, I work under the presumption that each client and each client's issues are unique. Thus, every project I undertake is basically a “start from scratch” process. And just like the best cooking, starting from scratch always yields the best results.
Nonetheless, there are some standard rules, diagnostics and processes that I use and/or suggest to almost all of my clients. One of my favorites is based on the theme of 80/20.
There are three variations on the theme of 80/20.
First, it is said that “eighty percent of success is just showing up.” This leads to the conclusion that the other twenty percent of success is knowing what to do when you get there. This is a pleasant thought. You need only be one-fifth prepared and as long as you catch the right bus, you'll be successful.
The second variation on 80/20 is that “twenty percent of your efforts will produce eighty percent of your results.” Thus, if a person could review the remaining eighty percent of their efforts and determine which of those efforts produced the other twenty percent of results they could eliminate a great amount of wasted work. This would significantly increase free-time and ultimately increase the quality of the person's life.
Inspired by these two variations, I created the third variation. I call it the “80/20 List.” Simply, the 80/20 list helps you determine what you really should be doing with your time. This is a highly effective tool, especially when combined with weekly schedule planning.
To create an “80/20 List,” either grab some paper and a pen or open up a spreadsheet program on your computer.
First, write down everything you want to do. It can be something as simple as emailing a friend, buying some new clothes, or reading a book, all the way up to learning photography, buying a new home or starting a new business venture. Whatever you want to do, need to do, or dream to do, write it down.
Now, with the understanding that “twenty percent of your efforts will produce eighty percent of your results” begin to separate your list. Create two columns, one entitled “20″ and the other entitled “80.”
In the “20″ column, first put everything you must do. If you have commitments that must be met or responsibilities that cannot be put off, put those items in this column. After that is done, take a good long look at the rest of your list. Ask yourself: “What on this list is truly and immediately important to me?” This is not to say that anything else isn't important, it's just not as immediately important. Once you've determined these items, place them in the 20 column. If you really have a problem focusing in on what is immediately important, don't be afraid to ask family, friends or coworkers. The “80/20 List” is not a secret to be kept. The more people who know about it, the more compelled you'll feel to keep in line with it. When first using the “80/20 List” the more leverage you can use on yourself the better.
Now that you've chosen your items for the 20 column, everything else goes into the 80 column. Remember, you're 20 column should have significantly less items in it than your 80 column.
Next, take your 20 column and prioritize it. Give everything in the column a value of 1 (most important) through 10 (least important). Obviously, you can have multiple items with the same value, especially if you have more than ten items in the column. Put the items in order of priority and Voila! you have to-do list that is customized and prioritized to you and your life.
Repeat this process for the 80 column. As you accomplish things from your 20 column, cross them off and move the top item from the 80 column over to the bottom of the 20 column. Now you will never have to question how to use your time or feel that you're puttering around unfocused.
An additional benefit of the “80/20 List” is time to decide how serious you really are. If items sit in the 80 column and never seem to make it over to the 20 side, you're probably not very serious about pursuing them. Make sure you periodically review your list and ask yourself if there are any items that really don't mean much to you anymore. After all, life is change.
This list is your focus. This list is your desires prioritized by you for you. Live by this list. Combine it into your weekly schedule and watch the quality of your work time, family time and play time grow faster than you ever imagined.
Do it for yourself and the ones you love. Do it for your dreams. Do it now!
And remember: Live each day with the passion of it being your last and the wonderment of it being your first.

PEAR is short for “PHP Extension and Application Repository”. It is a standard and structured library of open-sourced code for PHP users, All PHP code is written in standard style known as PCS ( PEAR Coding Standards ),it helps in maintaining the collaboration between PEAR developers. It is also helpful in quality and portability management. Using PCS, PEAR contributors can provide consistent and similar coding standard packages.
PEAR is a community-driven project. The project has been founded by Stig S. Bakken in 1999 and quite a lot of people have joined the project since then.
The code in PEAR is partitioned in “packages”. Each package is a separate project with its own development team, version number, release cycle, documentation and a defined relation to other packages (including dependencies). Packages are distributed as gzipped tar files with a description file inside, and can be installed on your local system using the PEAR installer.
Nowadays it is included in the standard distribution of the PHP installation and default include_path of php.ini in set to include the files from the folder where php pear packages normally installed.
But why PEAR is so useful? PEAR has more than 330 packages ranging from HTTP authentication to XML web services and complicated math equations for engineering calculations. Database management can be done using DB packages, and mail can be handled using mail packages. There are packages to create the forms and do their validation automatically. You can also create and validate the CSS and HTML of your code.
There are more than 25 packages categories like Authentication, Benchmarking, Caching,Configuration, Console, Database, Date and Time, Encryption, Event, File Formats, File System, Gtk Components, HTML,HTTP, Images, Internationalization, Logging, Mail, Math, Networking,Numbers, Payment, Processing, Science,Semantic Web, Streams, Structures, System, Text, Validate, Web Services, XML. Using pear, a less experience person can handle the any major technical requirement in their PHP programs.
But PEAR has one major issue with its documentation. Its documentation is not up to the mark and is probably the weakest part of the project. Most modules have some documentation available in the PEAR Manual but much of this is incomplete and crucially there are no links from the package directory entries to the documentation for each package. It’s a major short coming because PEAR has a great deal of excellent code that many developers are completely unaware of. The documentation normally created by PHP Documentator.
Some web sites like http://www.zend.com/pear/tutorials/index.php and http://www.phpkitchen.com/index.php?/archives/668-PEAR-Tutorials. html has some good collection of PEAR tutorials.
You can visit the PEAR homepage at http://pear.php.net
