Apple Announces Broadband for Its UK Users

MacAce.net is the exclusive service launched by Apple for its users. It is a dedicated internet service for the users of Mac operating system. The service is the most recent launch of up to 24 Mb ADSL2+ broadband over BT’s 21 CN network. It is yet another initiative by Apple to strengthen its brand value and good will with the Mac users.

The 24 Mb ‘Always On’ home packages, with a £46 connection charge come with a variety of options. The cheapest package is the ‘Always On Lite Deal’, which is priced at £16.49 per month. In this package, one gets to enjoy unlimited off-peak download along with 10 Gb peak download limit. Besides, the user also gets 1Gb of MacMate web space. For those, who wish to increase their peak download limits, ‘Always On Pro’ at £24.39 per month is available with 30 Gb peak usage quota, and ‘Always On Elite’ at £29.29 per month is available with 60 Gb peak usage quota.

MacAce.net promises that its services are not affected by “traffic shaping or restrictions”, which means uninterrupted, ‘Always on’ internet usage with very little bandwidth issues.
